This morning I have a headache after some really intense dreams. There was a monster in my dream that had really long, old fingernails & he was sqeezing my leg & I was in so much pain. Then I woke up – THAT was a relief, but I’m left w/a headache! I wonder if Satan can attack my dreams? I’ve always been interested in dreams – I just wish we knew more about their purpose. The Bible tells us that God used dreams to communicate, so sometimes I wonder if God is trying to tell me something or warn me about something sometimes. Other times, I think my brain is just taking out the trash. I guess it just depends on how I feel about some of the themes in my dreams.

Last night, Dwight & I went to the Teens’ Worship Service. It was awesome! It was like ‘Zoe: AfterDark’  While i believe that you can still worship God in any mood you’re in or life stage, or in any musical style, last night was the right “language” FOR ME.  I just really appreciate all the people who made last night happen. Maybe more people will be able to get a taste of it some time. Besides, a change every once in awhile is good. Dwight & I even tried a new recipe for dinner last night & it turned out really good. The whole family got involved making meatballs & the sweet & sour sauce recipe!

The kids have the day off today, so we are going to cuddle up on the couch & watch a movie, then we might have one of Nick’s friends come over in the afternoon. We were very fortunate here not to get any ice from that big storm! We just got a lot of rain. And I haven’t seen the sun in days. I’m ready for a new change in the weather – I don’t care if it snows, as long as the sun comes out!!!  OK – I’m going. ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ await! Then, tomorrow, I can tell you about all the bad dreams my kids had! Oh, what am I about to do??????

Yeah, thinking about dreams too much will freak me out. Strange things, aren’t they. I just go by the idea that there are no hard and fast rules of interpretation and look at them in the context of where I am in all areas. Sometimes I take away something major. Other times the quicker I can forget ‘em the better!

Last week I woke up one morning with deeply embedded creases in my forehead. I had been frowning in frustration in my dreams & was left with a headache hangover from the ordeal. Crummy!

Have a great time together today with the kids!

“I have a dream today…”
Oops…right day, wrong dream!

Man – I missed out on a really good joke this morning! I sure am glad that MLK’s dream was MUCH better than my own!
