Dwight & I had a good talk last night while watching ‘You’re the One That I Want’ ( you know, the show where they’re picking the ‘Grease’ stars for Broadway) Anyway…..we were just talking about singing and Musical Theatre. I guess Dwight & I are both feeling the urge to “perform” in some way. I think Dwight’s path will lead him to the Theatre Stage & my path will lead me be a Rock Goddess!   Actually……I decided to buy a guitar! That way I can accompany myself & figure out the “sound” of my voice. See, when I sing, I’m usually copying the sound of the singer. When I sing ZOE music, I try to sound like Sheryl (as impossible as that may be!) and when I’m singing with Evanescence, I try to sound like Amy Lee. The problem is – I don’t have a “sound” of my own.  (You can make your own Spiritual Application at this point!) I guess I’m taking a shot at a dream here, but what the hey, right? I have a huge mountain to climb first, but I’m going to at least start taking steps in the right direction.
