So I’ve been in class for the past 2 days, learning all about Leasing Agent “stuff” like the Civil Rights Acts, Fair Housing, etc. My brain is so full of job-specific knowledge! At the end of the day today, I had to take a 100 question exam. If I passed the course exam, THEN they would *let* me take the State exam to get my license. Well, I got ZERO wrong!! Whew!!! That was a BIG relief. Now I’ve just got to take that State test ASAP before all that knowledge escapes my brain! I’m very lucky that I’m a good test-taker. I always have been. Now, homework was another story! I can’t even tell you how many times I was in detention for not doing my homework!!! Oh well. I’m getting paid to do my work now, so I’m sure I have enough incentive to do it!

Dwight has been such a blessing to me the past couple of days. I’ve had to leave town before the kids go to school, so he’s taken them to school & picked them up again, along with the neighbor-girl that I watch for 45 min. after school every day. And he’s had to work from home for a few hours just to make up that time.  Also, he’s put up with a crazy house too!  Things have been a little hectic around here – I actually just made a run to Target & Kroger to pick up some things for the house so we can eat some REAL food & use Ziploc bags again for lunches instead of having to dip into the freezer bags like we did this morning!!! Just ask Dwight sometime about the dinner I made the other night. I had chicken, ramen noodles, and baby carrots in the house, so I made stew. I called it “Funky Stew” & it just cracked him up. It really wasn’t too bad – I added a little soy sauce to it too!

Oh yeah –  One of my other co-workers had to take the class too, so we got to spend a lot of time together the past couple of days & she’s really nice. I think I’m going to join her & another co-worker every other Friday for BINGO!!! It’s funny, but I don’t have ANY friends outside of my church. (Not counting Blog Church, of course!) It’ll be nice getting to know some new people at work.

Well, that’s it for me tonight! I am WIPED OUT! It’s past 11 & I should be in bed! Good-Night!
