Some women do not like using or hearing the C-word. Especially this early in the season. But I’m going to get it out there: CHRISTMAS!!!!! Yes, I have actually taken the first step in getting our Christmas Cards ready for this year – our family will be taking our picture with one of the reindeer at our local zoo for our Christmas Card picture this year. The kids are excited. I’m excited. Dwight may need some convincing though! Basically, he’s happy if we’re happy about it. OK – good enough for me!!! I just wanted to do something different this year. Now…..to figure out what to wear!

We bought a cow…….or rather, a Quarter Beef. We’ve got 1/4 of a cow, cut up into various beef products, in our deep freezer right now. I think my minister said something like “That’s so Missouri of you!” HA!!!

Since our family likes to rock out to Guitar Hero for PS2, but Jessica can’t quite manipulate the guitar yet, we decided to get her a game Mom can play……I mean a game of her own! We (Daddy) bought her ‘High School Musical: Sing It!’ for PS2. It’s really fun too! It’s like a Karaoke machine & you score points based on how well you sing along to the songs – it even keeps track of your pitch! Needless to say, I’ve been begging Jess to let me have a turn!

And finally, work is still going really well. Sometimes I even look forward to Mondays. I just get a sense of satisfaction from my job that I don’t get in my home. I mean, I don’t regret being a stay-at-home-mom for so long, but at least in THIS role I don’t compare myself to other Leasing Agents!!!
