You don’t know how excited you have made me! I know it’s been a looong time since I’ve though about you, but just hearing that you & the other ‘New Kids’ will be announcing your Reunion Tour has brought me right back to High School! I feel so giddy remembering my love for you – I just hope you’ll be playing at a venue near my house (even though I’d be willing to travel great lengths to see you!) I know you don’t remember our imaginary wedding, and admittedly, I have long forgotten it too, but I still have the posters, books, t-shirts, buttons, key chains, and various other memorabilia from that wonderful time so long ago.

I remember all the words to all the songs, I remember the many concerts that I went to IN A LIMO, and I even remember some of those wonderfully creative dance moves! You know, things will be a little bit easier for me this time around – I won’t have to make a fake-bottom for my purse so that I can sneak in a camera to the concert – I have a camera right in my phone!!! And I will be Tivo-ing your announcement on the Today show this Friday, so I won’t miss a second of seeing you, Jon, Donnie, Joey & Danny.

Even though you freaked me out a little bit when I saw you on the ‘Surreal World’ a few years ago, I promise that I will remember you for the good times that we had so many years ago.  I wonder if you think the next generation of fans is out there this time around. I have an almost-7-year-old daughter. I wonder if she will love your music like I did?  I think it’s time to break out the old cassette tapes & let her listen to a few songs. Wait. I don’t think I HAVE a cassette player anymore. This might pose a problem – see, I think my wonderful husband will let me go to the concert if I’m bringing my DAUGHTER to it, so I’m gonna have to find a way for her to hear your beautiful voice. You know, I even married a guy who can sing almost as high as you can!

Well, I must get back to reality now. Thank you for making me feel young again – I look forward to Friday!!!!!
