It’s been a busy week at home and at work. Soccer season kicked off this Saturday, with both of my kids playing again. Their games overlapped, so I only watched Jess’ game, since Dwight is Nick’s coach. Nick later came down with a fever, so I am home with him for the afternoon. Dwight was here this morning with him so I could go into work & enjoy me NEW DESK!!!  I have shared a desk/office with my supervisor for the past 7 months, so this is a big deal to me! No more playing musical chairs around the 1 computer!

In other news, Dwight & I finally bought a new sliding glass door for our kitchen/back porch. My Dad ended up buying the same one, so we’re gonna have a ‘Patio Door Party’ soon. Speaking of parties….I have to get going on Nick’s invitations – he’ll be 9 in less than 2 weeks! YIKES!!! Where did the time go???

I think I’m gonna go outside & do some more yardwork while Nick is playing on the Wii. I weeded my entire vegetable garden & have prepped my butterfly garden as well. Jess & I even spent some time this weekend getting some seeds planted in peat pots in our house – it’s SO hard to wait to plant flowers!!!
